The statement of the Dean of the University of Aston on the admission of Russian students

We have asked the University of Aston with a request to clarify the situation with Russian students in connection with appearance of information in mass media about the non-recognition of Russian education documents UK universities. Response statement of the Dean of the University of Aston Professor Alec Cameron presented below.

Dear applicants,

We would like to confirm that Aston University remains firmly committed to the principles of the international mobility of students. We evaluate applications for admission each student fairly and without discrimination.

Aston University continues to recognize the Russian educational diplomas and certificates.

Aston University welcomes the receipt of applications for admission from students from all over the world. We recognize that international students play a key role in maintaining cultural diversity in the life of our University, with all its benefits. Without the mobility of students and teachers of our University, it would be impossible.

Development strategy of the University going forward, however, internationalization has been one of the fundamental principles of our strategy.
